Come see what is cooking at the James!A baker's dozen of children's sized chairs have been decorated by local artists and will be put up for silent auction to help with costs of the upcoming exhibition, "Key Ingredients". The chairs that have been decorated belonged to the children's library in the James, so now is your chance to own a little piece of the James Memorial Library. Each chair will be following a food theme and have been decorated in many mediums including painting, decoupage, and textiles. Something for everyone's kitchen decor! The auction will start on January 17th with an evening opening of the gallery from 7:00-8:00 pm. Come and place the starting bids! The silent auction will be open during regular gallery hours from the 17th of January and will conclude on February 17th after the Soups On event. You will have until 2:00 PM on February 17th to place bids. Help us cook up something great at the James by purchasing a chair!
